EXAM ESSAY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Essay One: The population pyramids below represent two countries at different stages of the demographic transition and economic development. Explain the demographic characteristics of each country below with respect to the demographic transition model. Describe potential issues both countries could face in the future if their population pyramids remain the same. Discuss possible solutions to each country’s population concerns. Essay one when it says explain the demographic characteristics with respect to the demographic transition model it basically means what stage is the country in and how can you support your reasoning. Ex. Uganda has a very large base but gets very narrow as it reaches the working class age and has very few elders. Many kids but few adults may show that the country (Uganda) is in stage 1 because their children will grow to the middle class and then the next generation will follow through. Uganda is
Mr. Schick's Birthday! Today in class we spent the first twenty to thirty minutes eating cookies and cake and celebrating Mr. Schick's birthday. How old? Nobody asked. We spent the first ten minutes eating and singing happy birthday and the next ten to fifteen watching the girls in our class try to reenact some dance from some cheesy chic-flic they binge on their own time. Then we got to our seats and Mr. Schick told us about how he came into the world and what a whopping 10lb. Bobsicle he was... or would've been. Then Mr. Schick talked about the midterm for a little bit. Afterwards, we talked to Mr. Schick and told him we hope he has a great weekend and enjoys his birthday; which is actually tomorrow but our class isn't going to show up on his doorstep so we did it today.
EXAM STUDIES What is Human Geography? Human Geography is the branch of Geography that deals with the study of people and their communities, cultures, economies, and interactions with the environment by studying their relations with and across space and place. I started to place notes onto my blog but later realized that it would be smarter if I just made a quizlet and then when I got home I took everything that was on the quizlet and condensed it all into flashcards to try to get the material into my brain. I am going to continue to stick notes and key ideas into a quizlet which will later be transformed into flashcards because I do not like to study straight from quizlets. After I made the quizlet I started to revise my Biology flashcards; I have 250 of them that I wrote by hand. I also just realized that Mr. Schick wasn't here to sing "It's Thursday". It didn't even come to my mind that today was Thursday until now. That's about it and I'm done my
EXAMS Today we talked about what would go on when exam week starts. Then we discussed what you should do after the first exam is over. You should probably pack a lunch rather than waste your time standing in line at the cafeteria when the whole school will be there. Then we talked about the review/pop quiz he gave us and we went over the answers. Finally, we talked about what is going to be on the exam and when the review will be available to his students. Then the bell rang and we all ran out to our next class.
Where's Mr. Schick? Where is the Mr. Schick I know? Where is the man who is happy to come and teach his students? The man who finds joy in making jokes with his students to brighten up the lectures? Where is the old Mr. Schick? That I am not sure of. Over the last week Mr. Schick has given up all of the things he believes in as a teacher. He stopped making us put our phones on the shelf, he stopped making us close our computers when he was talking, and he stopped inputting his own opinions. I believe it is because his students; particularly our class, have taken advantage of the freedoms he has given us. I don't know what has happened, it is just like he flipped a switch. He is probably just getting tired of us... everyone needs some down time. Plus, we are really rude and obnoxious.
