Where's Mr. Schick?

 Where is the Mr. Schick I know? Where is the man who is happy to come and teach his students? The man who finds joy in making jokes with his students to brighten up the lectures? Where is the old Mr. Schick? That I am not sure of. Over the last week Mr. Schick has given up all of the things he believes in as a teacher. He stopped making us put our phones on the shelf, he stopped making us close our computers when he was talking, and he stopped inputting his own opinions. I believe it is because his students; particularly our class, have taken advantage of the freedoms he has given us. I don't know what has happened, it is just like he flipped a switch. He is probably just getting tired of us... everyone needs some down time. Plus, we are really rude and obnoxious.

Test Grade Finalized As of today, I officially got my first A on a human geo test. I know whoever is reading this is probably like wow it took long enough and yes, it did. I finally got an A on one of his tests instead of getting a thirty percent or a forty. I actually think that my highest was a sixty-nine and now this is my highest. I was actually really glad too because it raised my grade up and now I have all B-ees and two A-s I know that isn't good but I actually have really high B-ees. I am working really hard because I have to raise my gpa. Anyway, I got a ninety-two, not a high A, but an A. Basically we just went over the test during class and that will help for our midterm review and eventually the midterm.

It appears that I have forgotten to write my blog Friday or Saturday. Now I have no excuse and Socrates is probably shocked. Friday we talked about two maps and how they were different and which one was correct and which was incorrect. Then we watched a little film where people were trying to sell maps to people in the White House. It was all fake of course, then we continued to talk about the two maps. Class was mainly about the maps, except for the part in which the girls complained that it was too hot. The Bel Air versus John Carroll game was really fun too. The only thing was I didn't know if I wanted to be at the top of the bleachers or the bottom. If you look at it, if you sit at the top and the structure collapses you have the longest drop. But if you are at the bottom and somebody falls it is human dominoes and you get squished into a pancake.
