BUZZ'S PUNCH AND THE ERL BUSINESS

Today in class we talked about renewable and nonrenewable resources and how they play a part in our environment. Then we took some notes on ERL (oil) and watched a video on one of the first astronaut's that flew to the moon. The video was on Buzz Aldrin; the man that went to the moon with Neil Armstrong. Neil Armstrong passed about five years ago and Buzz Aldrin is still living. To be honest, I never even knew Neil went with him. I mean I know he went with someone but I just didn't know his name. The other thing I didn't realize is that Buzz was such a player. He has had a total of three wives throughout his life. In the video, Mr. Schick showed us, there was a lot of cursing because the person filming was really dramatic. Of course, it isn't Mr. Schick's fault that there was cursing because he had never seen the video before; none of us had. In the video, Buzz was being confronted by an idiot who thought that Buzz going to the moon was a whole lie and it was just a conspiracy theory. Buzz put up with his crap for a while and then finally the man got into his face and Buzz lost it. I respect Buzz because he waited a long time before punching the man and that is just really awesome. I could never have been that patient. Plus the dude is like eighty-seven and he full force popped the guy in the mouth. Then he walked away like nothing happened... like he owned the joint; which he basically does. Then we went into the factbook on the CIA's website (probably not the CIA's actual website - obviously => they wouldn't disclose that information into the hands of the public.) Then we talked about some oil spill that happened in the Gulf of Mexico about seven years ago. I think it was called the BP spill. I believe the CIA's website said that 4.9 million barrels or gallons... I don't know which, of oil were lost. 4.9 million gallons or barrels were dumped into the ocean. That means that a constant flow of oil seeped into the ocean for a number of days and nights straight. Then we talked about how oil is in plastic and that was about it so yeah.
